Is this the official MBTI test?

No. 16Mindsets is an independent 16-type self-reflection tool, not the official Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment. We do not claim affiliation or endorsement. If you need the official assessment, consult its official provider.

What do the four letters mean?

E/I describes extraversion and introversion preferences; S/N describes sensing and intuition; T/F describes thinking and feeling in decisions; J/P describes judging and perceiving in everyday structure. These are preferences, not rankings of ability or worth.

How do I answer the questions?

Answer 70 questions using five levels to indicate which of two descriptions fits you more closely. Think about your usual behaviour rather than an ideal version of yourself. You can go back to revise an answer, and switching between English and Traditional Chinese preserves your current progress.

What do the percentages and X mean?

Percentages describe the balance of your answers in this assessment, not diagnostic confidence. A result near the midpoint suggests closely balanced preferences. A tied dimension is shown as X rather than assigning an arbitrary letter.

Can my result change?

Your responses can change with context, self-understanding and experience. You can retake the assessment after finishing and reflect on the differences rather than aiming for an ideal type.

How should I use my result?

Use your result as a starting point for reflecting on communication, work habits and relationship needs. Compare it with real experiences. A personality type alone should not determine hiring, medical or other major decisions.
